The last 2 wil be built mid year next year in Charleston.
Actually, there are two ready to be delivered: one in Everett and another one in Charleston, plus the one waiting to be cleared for delivery (also in Charleston). Three more have received their line numbers (294, 347 and 367) and will be built next year.

Avianca ordered 10 787's back in 2007, not six (http://www.prnewswire.com/news-relea...-51656197.html). The last three will probably be built in the second semester of 2015.

As I stated above: I'm was going based on what info I found on the http://nyc787.blogspot.com/ spreadsheet. It's not always reflective of what's coming long term down the production line.

But Boeing's media room shows they added 3 to their original order of 12.

To end all confusion about the number of Avianca orders:

Here are the actual order dates and numbers from Boeings orders page:

Avianca Colombia South America 787-8 RR 04-Oct-2006 10
Avianca Colombia South America 787-8 RR 23-Nov-2007 2
Avianca Colombia South America 787-8 RR 28-Sep-2012 3
Total 15

It's the 11nd this month, #107 this year. 3 more to go to reach the target of the 110 deliveries from Boeings forecast this year.

And by Tuesday the third one for Avianca will be delivered so that's only two left to reach the target, with a very good chance that Avianca's fourth will also be delivered before December 31st.

re: LN246 ZB028 G-VAHH first flight:

That was a cool video. Tnx to the poster.

- At 1:43, 2:29, 3:40-3:53, What was all that smoke out of a nozzle on the right engine?
- At 5:00, pulses of smoke from under the fuselage?
- At 3:31 the cargo hatch doesn't look nicely blended into the fuselage?

We only have 3 days left until Boeing Everett shuts down for 2 weeks for the Christmas Break. They will be limited workers and only OT from what I was told. They are craming deliveries and test flight into the next 3 days.

Looks like Royal most likely will deliver in the next 3 days. Still waiting for customer flight, but since it's their first may take a little more than 1 customer flight before they sign off.

Azerbaijan still is waiting on financing issues to be sorted. Heard it may go to short term storage until next year.

I would say Virgin will most likely deliver, but still needs a B2 and customer flight.

Etihad may also deliver. It's waiting on a customer flight from what I was told.

The remaining 87's at Everett haven't flown yet and are most likely will not meet the goal of delivering this year.

These 4 will be enough to reach delivery target for this year. But Boeing still needs to deliver around 15 frames in January and February to clear backlog. Current situation of PAE over occupied with traveled work and so many frames isn't healthy situation for 787 program, costs of production rose significantly when frames need so much travel work.

Any info about engines for LN14?

I haven't heard any news on LN14. I know that when I went over to look at 14 and 22 they were gutted and having extensive work done on the wings.
