N800AN returning to PAE after it's first flight via MWH.

It has a R2D2 bubble on the fuselage... Is that the satellite antenna?

They can make money from passengers who pay to fly on the plane. Congrats to Boeing and American on having the first American Airlines 787 fly.

These wings with Genx-1B engines are still impressive even after nearly 5 years since 1st flight of ZA006 N787ZA.

Regardless of today being such a quiet day on ramp the Dreamliner program has certainly picked up momentum... Any new carriers accepting delivery this year?!!?

For the most part .... boeing has figured it out the 787 and have been cranking them out like candy. Good stuff!

and all the bad press knock on wood... has gone away.

KLM now that's a livery I can not wait to see on the Dreamliner
As for bad press I totally agree! Boeing have a fantastic aircraft on their hands & great to see things back on track

We need to see a large number of B-1 flights the coming days if all the tentative scheduled deliveries for January will still be made this month.

Agreed.

We have 13 787's on the flight line and only 2 have had a B1 flight.

N800AN and JA839J

Yet to fly:

Korean Air VIP -8
Etihad's -9
Scoot's -9
Ameican's 3 -8's
Qatar's -8
Aeromexico's -8
Virgin's 2 -9's (Although 1 just rolled out yesterday)
LAN's -9

I would suspect Scoot and American's 2nd -8 should fly any day. Both have completed engine starts and functional testing.
