N507BJ Korean Air Boeing 787-8 is back on the flight line after being at the fuel dock.
APU exhaust unsealed. Its probably being prepared for 1st flight, maybe next week.

Any sight of LN253 A6-BLB for Etihad and LN249 N801AC for American? These 2 are scheduled for delivery this month and if they want to make it, then only 2 weeks left for testing...

With nearing February, LN14 should be getting better shape too. It's undergoing re-work/change incorporation since September 2013 (although it was interrupted for few weeks by traveled work of new 787 in 2014), but engines and interrior installation should occur soon.

I noticed that too.

As for A6-BLB and N801AC

A6-BLB is in Bay A at EMC and N801AC is inside the paint hanger at EMC.

Heard from my source regarding engine hangs on LN 14/22 - Looking like mid March before that will happen.

So LN14 delivery date for 20th March isn't possible, probably we will see it flying in May at best.

LN22 is scheduled for delivery in August, so that isn't problem.

With weather delays in Everett. Not sure they are going to meet Jan Delivery targets unless they put in some serious OT.

15 Days into Jan and yet to deliver a single 787 outside of RAM and Etihad which was delivered in Dec and flew away in Jan.

I don't think that they will be able to deliver more than 7-8 frames in January.

How I wish I can see this airline operate the Dreamliner to even more destinations than just the Caribbean or Indian Ocean...

Thomson has seen several re-incarnations, back in the 70,s 80`s it original name was Britannia Airways, taking its name form the Original aircraft type they flew, the Bristol Britannia, it was also the in-house airline of Tour Operator Thomson Holidays, although they kept their own brands as Britannia was also heavily chartered by other Tour Operators. The whole organisation back then was a subsidiary of the Thomson Oraganisation The Canadian Co, to which the Thomson Tower In Toronto also took its name.

Tail blockade was removed too. Finally, after 5 years of coma in Everett it will fly for 1st time.

Hey Fellows....I need assistance with this news clip below:

Aeromexico receives Ex-Im loan
16 January 2015
Mexican carrier to finance two Dreamliners with the ECA-backed debt.

Aerovias de Mexico, operating as Aeromexico, is financing two new 787-8 deliveries with a US Ex-Im backed loan

Read more @ http://www.airfinancejournal.com/art...x-Im-loan.html

??? Is anyone aware if there was a cancellation and if Boeing is offering AeroMexico two additional 787-800's. Currently they have only 9 800 model dreamliners on order. Any assistance would be truly appreciated!!!!

It's probably a loan for their 2 787-8 on direct order, one of them was delivered last month, the 2nd is scheduled for delivery next month.

Such financing deals doesn't always comes before the order, as the plane is paid for when it's delivered (except for some earlier deposits). It's also not always the case that a financing deal is sealed before the delivery. Aeromexico might have paid in cash or took a temporary loan before they sealed this long term financing deal.

No cancellations, no new orders, just a standard financing deal.

Damn, was hoping that AM had something under their sleeve due to a new Asia route.

Thanks Bud!

If you look at their previous 787-8 deliveries they where all leased from AerCap. The one delivered last month and the one currently on the flight line are the 2 aircraft that this financing deal is in regards too. They are the first 2 owned by the airline and not leased. Hence the XA-AMX and XA-AMR registrations verses NxxxAM.

^ That certainly makes a lot of scene and so much for getting all worked up.
