This injury was at the hanger construction spot next to E7.

[QUOTE=Qtya;122558186]CEO: Ethiopian may acquire six early-build Boeing 787s

If we assume that LN#s 10 and 16 will still be picked up by LAN at some point, and that LN#s 15 and 22 are committed to Air Austral, that leaves 8 choices:
LN# 4 - Less Likely
LN# 5 - Less Likely - was originally slated as a BBJ
LN# 12 - Already in Change incorporation
LN# 13 - Already in Change incorporation
LN# 14 - Already in Change incorporation
LN# 17 - still stored on RWY 11/29
LN# 18 - still stored on RWY 11/29
LN# 19 - still stored on RWY 11/29

I know it won't be in the next 2 days. Weather here won't be above minimum for a B1 flight.

Per twitter: Boeing 787 Fans ‏@B787fans

"American Airlines won't take delivery of any more 787s until the FAA has certified the 787 pilots. That's why N802AN is stored at Victorville and N803AL will join her."

I don't recall United having this much trouble getting their pilots certified. American has a boatload of B777 pilots that should be able to transition fairly quickly since they share a type rating with the B787.

Their first before deferral was to be LN356. They just rolled LN 300 out, so it will be 3-4 months before we will see it.

Still no sight of engines for LN14? Is LN13 re-work ongoing or maybe it's just sitting outside the EMC?

LN270 ZA682 B-2760 for Xiamen Airlines delivery fligjht:
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/C...730Z/KPAE/ZSAM

4th delivery this month. Probably 7-8 more, but I don't think that Boeing will be able to deliver more than 12 frames. JA836A for ANA is out of question now, VH-VKJ for Qantas even more impossible. We will see.

No engines for 14 as Boeing suppliers are behind. My contact who hangs them said they hung 8 engines in 4 days last week and are still behind for the factory floor. Also Vietnam Airlines is in position 2 and should roll out in a by Monday.

As for LN 13, they are doing some work on it, just not as extensive as 12, 14, or 22.

The deferral is not for the 1st deliveries, it's at the end of deliveries, KLM will just take less 787s then was planned earlier.

For Boeing it's not even a deferral, as the frames that are not taken up by KLM will go to Air France instead. AF will get more 787s and get them earlier.

The total 787s ordered (direct & lease) by Air France - KLM has actually silently gone up by 2 from 35 to 37. In the old plans the KLM would have gotten 23 and Air France 12. Now KLM will get 21 and Air France 16. Although this last distribution has not yet been confirmed by Air France-KLM.

If they deliver 11 they will be at 30 this year, that's 10 a month. Anything more then 10 in the coming 9 months is enough to slowly reduce the delivery backlog on both flight lines.

Considering the delays because of the engines deliveries and the continued delays of the deliveries to AA they are still doing a great job reducing this backlog and streamlining the assembly and delivery process.
