LN281 ZA324 PH-TFM for TUI Travel/Arke delivered. It's the fastest delivery of 787 frame, 75 days from FAL load to delivery. Info about production time from http://nyc787.blogspot.com/

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/T...040Z/KPAE/EHAM

//JA836A finally undergoing initial fueling in the fuel dock. Should fly soon.

Something interesting about LAN 787s order. LAN has 4 direct 787-9s order but already 6 787-9s direct production frames are on list. They converted 787-8s to 787-9s and question is how many, Maybe all 12 remained 787-8s had been converted to 787-9s.

It could be the ANA 787-10 order, but that one was announced together with an order for 5 737s that wasn't booked last week. That means that this probably is a another completely new order instead. Next week we should know at least which type was ordered with the monthly order update.
It was ANA:

Boeing, ANA Finalize Order for Three 787-10 Dreamliners

First Asian airline to operate all three members of 787 family

SEATTLE, March 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Boeing [NYSE:BA] and All Nippon Airways (ANA) today finalized an order for three 787-10 Dreamliners, valued at approximately $900 million at list prices. With this order, originally announced as a commitment in January 2015, ANA becomes Boeing's newest 787-10 customer and first airline in Asia to operate the entire family of 787 Dreamliners.

"We truly appreciate ANA's confidence in the 787 and this order further demonstrates our decades-long partnership with ANA," said Boeing Commercial Airplanes president and CEO Ray Conner. "We are honored to play such an important role in ANA's continued success as they look to expand their fleet to include the entire family of 787 Dreamliners."

ANA, the launch customer of the 787, currently operates the world's largest 787 fleet with 34 Dreamliners. The airline will further expand their future fleet with an additional 49 787s on order, leveraging the added efficiency and full flexibility of the complete 787 family.

AA's ZA820 will fly to VCV on the 28th presumably to be stored along side ZA819. Hainan's 262 ZA438 already has been delivered (March 16th) but is still stored at Charleston and likely will fly away first week of April.

It'll be interesting to see where would ANA assign their 787-10's. My guess: initially Tokyo-Haneda (HND) to Sapporo New Chitose (CTS) route, given that it will take around 20 years from now for the Shinkansen to finally reach Sapporo. I could see ANA's 787-10's fly from Tokyo-Haneda to San Francisco and Los Angeles, too.

Right now it looks like ANA are to use the 787-10 domestically.

With the 747 no longer in service with any Japanese airline, I expect ANA to fly the 787-10 mostly on the Tokyo-Haneda to Sapporo-New Chitose and Tokyo-Haneda to Fukuoka routes initially for a couple of years, then start flying them on some longer international routes later.

They have 7 777-300 (non ER) which will be hitting 20 years old from 2017.
787-10 will be pretty good replacement for them.

What would be its seating configuration like, and will it be a 3- or 4-class aircraft, similar to the B77W? I mean, if it will act like the B77W, I would suspect that it can also be used on the airline's busier regional routes as well, similar to how its B788s are deployed on both regional and long-haul services. If we do HND-SFO with NH, it will be placed in direct competition against UA and JL, which already do the same service... it should stay with NRT where UA has a hub.

LN277 ZA480 A7-BCU for Qatar did C1 flight yesterday. They still can sqeeze delivery this month.

3 deliveries scheduled for today (30th March) and 2 for tomorrow (31st March).

Boeing should be able to deliver as much as 15 frames in April but it depends on deliveries for American Airlines.
Also we should see Ethiopian's order for terrible teens in April with first delivery problably in May or June.

China-based Hainan Airlines is planning to place an order worth $7.7bn with Boeing for 30 787 Dreamliners. If finalised, the new 787-9 aircraft will complement Hainan's existing fleet of nine Dreamliners.
