I wonder what is going on with Saudi Ministry of Finance frames and N28MS for Jet Aviation.

KLM's movement to 40-24 has been cancelled tonight due to windy conditions. They can't have the high winds blowing into the factory while the big doors are open.

No engine attachment hasnt happen yet. The engines will be attached in the next station or they happened after the photo was taken. They have no plans as of now for storage since they announced the first routes.

I believe this is not the 1st GE powered 787-9 that went from the 40-26 main line to the now almost empty 40-24 surge line recently to have the engines installed post assembly. Maybe GE is having some issues delivering the engines on time (it could just be because of the summer holidays), but not too late to delay deliveries as Boeing simply installs the engines right after it's scheduled roll-out date, right before it goes into paint. Spending time in the 40-24 instead of on the flight line.

Word you're looking for is "thin" routes.

KLM also posted a picture on their twitter today of the 787-9 from inside the factory, but also still without engines. Both the engine-less pictures must have been taken some time ago. But they also showed the interior being installed, that's something which is usually done after the engines are attached. There must have been a small delay, but as Woody's picture shows it's not really an issue to install them a bit later during assembly.

I can't wait to see it fully painted or better, see it flying over my house on approach to Schiphol.

When the picture I posted was taken it was in position 3, Qatar LN 354 was in front of it. It is scheduled to go into paint today or tomorrow with rollout on 9/10.

It looks like HB-JJJ for PrivatAir was re-registered as N887BA, so it's either long term storage (at least few months) or frame will not be taken up by customer.

LN126 ZB001 ZK-NZC (former N789EX) entered service yesterday, AKL-BNE as NZ135.
