N885BA Air Austral LN22 was supposed to be in paint tonight. They started to roll it in, then backed it out and parked it in stall 102 on the flight line. Also it has been assigned a Boeing Reg N885BA.

With the update it's interesting to take a look at who will be the next new operators in 2016.

And it's not going to be that exiting with just 6 new airlines taking their 1st delivery in the new year. Most of the delivery slots have gone to existing customers.

I've read that it appears Boeing may end up selling a lot more 787-9's than 787-8's, mostly because the 787-9 is well-suited to replace in the starting-to-age 777-200ER's built between 1997 and 2003 on many routes.

I do hope so! Personally I like the 787-9 more due to its more better looks than the 787-8, which just looks quite short
