But I don't know.... what is a new paintjob

Like GTR66 stated. All 787-8's rollout with rudder only painted as seen in the 787-8 below for Qatar:

All 787-9's roll out with fully painted tails due to the laminar flow technology on their tail's and the way it has to be painted:

In fact, few early 787-8s had pre-painted tail. IIRC 2 or 3 788s for ANA.

I finally flew on a Qatar Airways 787-8 from Doha-Karachi in January 2016, I hate to say it but I was really disappointed with the aircraft seating in economy. It was too narrow, too cramped. Glad it wasn't too long of a flight. Now when I see the 787 I can't really get too excited. I was coming off of a Qatar 777-200LR 15 hour flight which had wider seats so maybe that is why my experience was negative. I was really looking forward to liking the 787 in economy.

I thought B787 was designed to accommodate 3-3-3 abreast seating in economy? and afaik almost all 787s (except some of ANA's as far as I'm aware) have the same seating config in Y-class so that shouldn't really be a problem should it? Although you are not the first one to complain about this 'narrow' seating, I would like to hear from others how they find it.

Okay I've read some reviews about 787 economy seats and 90% of the passengers don't seem to be happy with it. But the pitch is generally 31-32 inch and width between 17-18 inch which seems quite normal configuration to me as in other aircraft like 777 or A330. So I don't get what's all the fuss about is?

Resuming would be a better word, since AI used to operate to VIE already before.
