I've talked to other people about the 787 and they just don't like it in economy.

The other two planes that are uncomfortable or me are the Boeing 757 and the CRJ-200. So it might not just be the seat space but something else that's off about the 787. I was really excited to fly on it, but now not so much. I'd give it another try if it were an option during booking but looking back I'm glad it only a 2.5 hour flight.
Yes I understand what you mean. This is experienced by most people, when they fly on a wider aircraft and then fly on a narrower one, one is bound to notice the difference. Also the reason why many prefer the A350 over 787 because A350 has a bit wider body than the 787.

However, I myself unfortunately haven't flown on the 787 yet so I can't judge it all just yet. So when I finally get the opportunity to fly in one, I will give my final verdict

LAN Airlines next 787-9 will be wearing a new revised livery to go along with their re-branding.

LATAM will replace LAN on the side
New logo will replace the Star on the tail.

LN4 ZA004 N7874 was stripped from "EcoDemonstrator" stickers and WiFi bumb has been removed from fuselage. This frame will be probably used for RR Trent 1000-TEN for 787-8 frame certification flights.

It went unnoticed, but RR tested Trent-1000 engine with Composite-Titanium fanblades back in 2014-15.

I found photos of Ku-band WiFi internet sat-antenna installation on 787.
Frame is LN143 ZA586 N28MS B787-8 for AerCap/Jet Aviation wit GE GEnx-1B engines, previously rumored to be Michell Dell's Dreamliner. Plane is still inside hangar in Moses Lake Greenpoint Technologies facility, interior furbishing probably isn't finished yet despite 2 years of work.

N28MS by Bernie Leighton, on Flickr

2nd 787-8 in Greenpoint's hands is LN11 ZA841 for Korean Air VIP, this one should be completed within 18 months from delivery (December 2016 or January 2017) and re-delivered in early 2017 to Korean Air.
