We have to wait a couple of weeks to see it fully painted in the new livery.

That will be first LATAM frame with new livery, so I expect some kind of event. Won't be surprised if they will cover tail during factory -> paint hangar trip.

Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner Begins Major Assembly

Steady progress as first production fuselage section begins weeks early

EVERETT, Wash., March 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Major assembly of the first Boeing (NYSE: BA) 787-10 Dreamliner is underway, the latest major milestone in the development of the newest member of the super-efficient 787 family. Boeing partner Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. began installing the circular frames into the midforward section of the fuselage on March 14, a full two weeks ahead of schedule.

"Beginning major assembly early underscores the commitment, discipline and performance of the entire Boeing and partner team worldwide," said Ken Sanger, vice president of 787 Airplane Development, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "We are taking all the right steps to ensure we integrate the 787-10 into the production system smoothly."

As a straightforward stretch of the 787-9, which entered service in 2014, Boeing designed the 787-10 for both superior efficiency and maximum commonality. Ninety-five percent of the design and build of the 787-10 and 787-9 will be identical, reducing complexity, cost and risk across the entire production system while providing operational benefits to customers.

The 787-10, which will undergo final assembly at Boeing South Carolina in North Charleston, will set a new benchmark in efficiency when deliveries begin in 2018. With a robust range capability covering more than 90 percent of the world's twin-aisle routes, the 787-10 will deliver 25 percent better fuel use and emissions than the airplanes it will replace and at least 10 percent better than anything being offered by the competition in the future.

To date, the 787-10 has won 153 orders from nine leading customers around the world, accounting for 13 percent of all 787 orders.

Boeing, Air Europa Celebrate Delivery of the Airline's First 787 Dreamliner

Carrier is first Spanish operator to fly 787
Airplane will grow Air Europa's network, open new routes to South America

MADRID, March 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Boeing [NYSE: BA], Air Europa and SMBC Aviation Capital are celebrating the delivery of the carrier's first Boeing 787 Dreamliner today.

Air Europa takes delivery of its first 787 Dreamliner following a ceremony held at Boeing's 787 assembly site in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Air Europa leased its first 787 through an agreement with SMBC Aviation Capital. The delivery is also the first Dreamliner to SMBC Aviation Capital. The newest addition to Air Europa's fleet will touch down in Madrid on March 16th following a nonstop 4,128 miles (6,643 kilometres) delivery flight from Boeing's 787 assembly site in North Charleston, South Carolina.

"Today's delivery begins a new chapter in Air Europa's story. The state-of-the-art 787 Dreamliner will provide us with significant operational advantages as we aim to expand our footprint around the globe," said Juan José Hidalgo, president, Globalia, the parent company of Air Europa. "Additionally, it is an airplane that will offer our passengers an unrivalled on-board experience, and arrive at their holiday destination feeling refreshed."

The 787 is a family of technologically advanced, super-efficient airplanes with new passenger-pleasing features. In addition to bringing big-jet ranges to midsize airplanes, the 787 will provide Air Europa with unmatched fuel efficiency and environmental performance, using 20 to 25 percent less fuel and with 20 to 25 percent fewer emissions than the airplanes it replaces.

"We are honored to deliver the first 787 Dreamliner to our partners at Air Europa," said Ray Conner Boeing Commercial Airplanes President & CEO. "This airplane is a great addition to its fleet and provides the capability to grow its long haul network to the Americas and beyond while offering superior passenger comfort."

Air Europa announced an order for 14 787-9 Dreamliners in 2015, the largest ever Boeing widebody order from a Spanish carrier. Air Europa now has a combined total of 22 787-8s and 787-9s on order as it continues its transition to an all-Boeing long-haul fleet.

Peter Barrett, CEO of SMBC Aviation Capital, who attended the landmark delivery said: "We are very pleased to have concluded this delivery to Air Europa, particularly as the aircraft involved represents a significant first for both companies. We look forward to building on this partnership and continuing to work with Air Europa and Boeing."

Here a bit of real news then.

Three Royal Brunei Airlines pilots have made history by being the company's first all-female flight crew, making their first journey to Saudi Arabia, where women are not allowed to drive. The women flew the Boeing 787 Dreamliner from Brunei to Jeddah.
Surely they drove it while taxiing in Jeddah.
