It looks like LN12 ET-ATL for Ethiopian delivery slipped to end of June.

I like the simple color scheme on the AirCap jet above.

The 1990's wants its liveries back. Just saying.

That livery was indeed typical for decades amongst airlines but most phased out their simple white-with-(one or two)stripe(s)-livery. From other customers, only Singapore Airlines (not yet in service) has such a typical old livery, but looks more classy and less old-fashioned imo.

China southern also has the stripes.

I do prefer these old school liveries to the 'modern' ones where its a white aircraft with the name or massive name (swiss, air austral).

A lot of airlines have revamped their livery to make it look worse when their old livery would have looked better with slight amendments.

The Air China livery only needs to increase the size of the logo on the tail (think Cathay) and increase/change font of Air China (think singapore airlines)

Sorry, lets get back to topic. The air china economy doesn't look at slim compared to china southern.. though its business class is a nightmare

I love the old cheatline liveries, I was hoping to see the former American Airlines livery on the 787 but sadly they have the big flag livery that we all have to just accept. So glad to see a cheatline livery on the 787 as we see in Air China and China Southern.

the 787 was actually one of the reasons that American Airlines discontinued the old livery: showing the bare skin of the aircraft would not result in fine aluminum but in rather ugly composite. The move to painted aircraft so became more or less a necessity.

I myself like the new livery for being very light silver (reminding me of Aeroflot) and (in here I don't share the opinion) I like how the flag is incorporated in the tail. A slim, straight and stylish stripe could also perfectize the livery (I like the KLM one still seen on many aircraft).

Anytime. Been real busy with my daughter's wedding and work. So getting to PAE for pictures daily has been a challenge the last few weeks. It will be hit and miss for the next 8 weeks as a big project at work is consuming much of my time.
