But, seriously, is there a single livery that doesn't look good on the 787?

Has anyone noticed angle variance with the landing of the B787s in the above images?

That's because the shot of Royal Jordanian is actually a missed approach and is climbing out. Note the main gear doors are open.

Does anyone know what configurations will the next Etihad planes have?
Will they be in a 2-class or 3-class?

I believe at least the next 2 (A6-BLK and A6-BLL) will be 3-class since Etihad is about to start flying 3-class 787-9 to NRT, but I'm not sure. In the mid time 2-class planes will be deployed to BNE most of the days and PVG is goig to A330-200 till the end of February 2017

I don't understand why the hull & wings have to be scrapped. There must be some kind of repair work that can be done to complete the aircraft and bring it back to specs. They fixed Ethiopian LN44 which had a hole burnt in its roof. However, this situation seems to involve more critical structures. The repair could take a couple of months. Boeing will have to develop new techniques, but that is what engineering is about. There may some extra weight added.

From the customer's point of view, the aircraft cannot be delivered on time. They should have the right to reject the aircraft or ask for compensation, however, if they want an aircraft anytime soon, I think they will have to take the repaired plane.

Not if the the structural integrity of the aircraft is compromised.

AA has 47 772s, 22 350s on order... wouldn't the 787-10 be a good fit for AA on european routes to replace the 772?

If they want growth. Just look at the current configurations, their 777-200ERs have almost the same number of seats as their 787-9s. If AA wants a one on one replacement they can just get more 787-9s. But I wouldn't be surprised if they will still order the 787-10 anyway.
