Boeing Delivers 500th 787 Dreamliner

Since entering service in 2011, the 787 Dreamliner fleet has grown to include 48 operators, who have collectively flown 696,000 revenue flights, carrying 133 million passengers over 1.7 billion revenue miles.

The 787 family is flying more than 530 routes, with customers opening more than 120 new nonstop routes around the world.

- ECAir - Equatorial Congo Airlines, took over 1 order from Private Air earlier this year, but the airline was suspended 2 months ago.
- ALAFCO (kuwait, lessor)- Still has some on order after transferring part of their order to Saudia and Oman Air, the don't mention their remainder on their own order book
- Aeroflot, been discussing the order since 2015, recently finally decided against it. Order will be transferred to Russian lessor Avia Capital Services.
- Delta, If they keep this order it will be converted from the -8 to the -10. Currently it doesn't have a delivery schedule. It could easily be converted to another Boeing model.
Kuwait Airways were getting theirs from ALAFCO http://www.reuters.com/article/alafc...56269520070902

There are probably even more airlines as not all lease deals or MoUs are made public.


Garuda could also be added to the list as their LoI from last year hasn't been firmed up yet.

Easy - There are several early build 787's (aka Terrible Teens) that haven't been delivered yet.

Air France was the 500th Produced

Avianca was the 500th delivered.

The 787-8 is out of fashion for a long time and very few were ordered for 5 years. Not as unfashionable as the 787-3 though.
