And some news from the orders conversions front.

Saudi Finance Ministry order which is still completely unidentified on Boeing's order book, even though a part of it is already delivered saw a conversion of 8 787-9 to the 787-10.

There had already been talk about Saudia getting the 787-10, sparking rumors of a new order. But for now it's just a conversion. But maybe a new order is still on the way, the rumored numbers were larger then just these 8 787-10s.

Ceremony witnessed by Malaysian Minister of International Trade & Industry; In presence of Malaysian Prime Minister.

The announcement includes eight 787-9 Dreamliners by converting eight of Malaysia Airlines' existing order of the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and eight additional purchase rights of the 737 MAX 8s as well as Boeing's Global Fleet Care service to maintain the national carrier's current and future Boeing airplanes. There's rumor going around that:

"Turkish Airlines has selected it's new WB fleet.
TK has chosen Boeing's Dreamliner for it's Longhaul Fleet. Around 10 Boeing 787-9 aircraft will be ordered."

The 4 788s were aready ordered on 29-Mar-2017 and were listed as unidentified.

JAL will use these 4 on their domestic network, so they will a different role then their current 787 fleet. We can expect that these will have a dense lay-out, with 9 Abreast seating in economy.

The Qantas 787-9 looks great, I am just wondering why it's missing the roos on the engine nacelles, they are part of the new livery and all the other types in the fleet are getting them. Maybe they will be painted on later..
