That could be a good destination. I wonder though if the seat configuration would fit the route.

First some regional routes for training and then London as the 1st scheduled destination.

That's great. Hopefully, QR will receive more 787s so that those can be used on Asian flights as well. More than likely, MNL might receive its first 787 flight by QR, but let's hope and see what the next moves will be.

They should get 5 787s this year, they should announce more routes soon. Probably at the delivery ceremony that should take place next week.

Although I expect more premium routes first, I've seen Paris, Frankfurt and Tokyo mentioned as other possible early routes.

Those will be good route choices indeed. But I still wonder how many 787s will QR eventually get...

If that many, hopefully, it would send its aircraft to nearly every destination it goes because it has a growing network to complement with the airline's 777s.

Now that would be really nice to see aircraft switches everyday to test out a new aircraft on every route

Ethiopian already did that, so it won't be something new.

And because of the recent delays they will most likely employ in on fixed routes as soon as possible.

This video of a China Southern 787 Taxi Test gives us 1st good view of the plane from all angles. It should have made it's 1st flight already a couple of days ago but that was cancelled because weather conditions (low clouds). But it should take of any day now.

That livery looks much nicer than CZ's standard design. Really stimulates a feeling of flight.

The same photographer also took a picture of LOTs 2nd painted 787, this one went straight from the assembly line to the paint hangar.

The 3rd one for LOT, SP-LRC is the current last one that started assembly, and the 4th and 5th will be the next 2. They could fast very fast with the deliveries to LOT after they receive their 1st one half November, it's possible that they will have take delivery of their 5th in January.

That LOT 787 has a much cleaner livery than its predecessors with a dark blue cheat line and bottom...

I wish LOT took example from ANA, LAN, Ethiopian & had some kind of addition to Romeo Alfas livery indicating LOT being the first airline in Europe to operate the 787.

I think LOT wants to keep it simple, especially that the DreamLiner decals are located prominently on the bottom right and left sides of the plane.

It looks nice, but I think it would be better if they still used this livery.
