All Things 787 has posted a new update of the upcoming production slots.
http://nyc787.blogspot.nl/2012/12/78...on-update.html

He has now added the LN116 to LN130 to the list.

The LN 126 will be the 1st 787-9, it will go into assembly in June and that will happen in the surge line.

There are 2 new airlines on the list.
LN123 - 1st 787-8 for QANTAS/Jetstar
LN128 - 1st 787-8 for Royal Brunei Airlines

The other are mostly the usual suspects, ANA, JAL, LAN, United and Qatar. The will be one for China Southern, 1 for BA and 2 more for Aeromexico who has said that they will take delivery of their 1st one in August.

The goal was between 35 and 42.

And with the 3rd delivery today it is going very fast, it's the 2nd 787 for LOT that will also fly to it's new home today.
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/L...200Z/KPAE/EPWA

LOT: 2
December: 5
2012: 40
total: 43

And with several more that are ready delivery Boeing should easily top the top end of the target.

Well that's good, I'm sure people in Boeing are very happy with this.

JA829J delivered too.

So, yesterday's deliveries are:

LN52 N27903 for United Airlines
LN59 JA817A for ANA
LN60 VT-ANK for Air India
LN62 A7-BCK for Qatar
LN78 SP-LRB for LOT Polish Airlines
LN84 JA829J for Japan Airlines

That gives 43 airplines in 2012 and 46 total.

And still 3 787s are ready for delivery:
LN54 VT-ANJ for Air India
LN65 VT-ANL for Air India
LN82 A7-BCC for Qatar

Next, 2 planes are near to be ready for delivery:
LN45 N27901 for United
LN72 VT-ANM for Air India
LN83 JA818A for ANA

these could be ready for delivery in early January. Breakthrough with Air India is hopeful for next deliveries to be faster. And LN73 B-2728 was moved from Kilo South to flightline, maybe arrangements for CAAC certification are ongoing.

And the Qatar took delivery of another one as was announced last week, today it's the LN82, A7-BCC.

Qatar: 5
December: 9
2012: 44
total: 47

Currently delivered 787s:
ANA: 17
JAL: 7
Qatar: 5
United: 5
Air India: 4
Ethiopian: 4
LAN: 3
LOT: 2

Seeing the number of 44 deliveries this year we should take into account that if China would have certified it on time and if Air India wouldn't have all the payment issues the total for this year would have topped the 50 deliveries. Considering this and the fact that the projected deliveries was 42 we can conclude that Boeing actually did a very good job delivering the 787s this year. Even with all the many small and some bigger problems the program had this year.

If you'd like, fly out of FRA or ZRH and experience the 787 to DOH. The flight is around, say around 6 to 7 hours.

SP-LRE & JA830J in the flightline. LN34 B-2725 for China Southern in the flightline too. All Chinese frames are in the flightline, it looks like storage in the South Ramp is over. January will be very interesting, and it could be really big month for 787s deliveries, if CAAC will complete certification and Chinese carriers will take up theirs Dreamliners.

Oooh are those headrests I see on Y class seats? Those look welcoming indeed! And gotta love the reflective lighting too.

If you mean the third picture from above, that's a premium economy.

Oh ok, that's a great improvement indeed. All I remember is that LOT offers Business and Economy Class seats only, but now with Economy Plus? That's awesome.
