Who is 'they'?

Myself,I could see myself living in London (the vibe, the sheer size of the city combined with its international character), Copenhagen (I guess a bit of the same culture as Amsterdam), Stockholm (I like, almost, every thing about Sweden so also its capital).

Some other cities that come to my mind are Lisboa, Dublin, Oslo and Prague.

As this is posted in the 'skyscraper' section, you can see I'm not necessarily drawn to cities with the 'best' skylines.

Not Istanbul for sure. I certainly have interest to boreal forests and nordic culture so Tromso, Stockholm or Oslo would be nice.

Hmm... I would like to live in Warsaw. But not because it is the capital of Poland, but because I love booming cities, I like to stay in traffic, I like to use public transport and I just love to see how a city is rising. It is my dream to live in Warsaw, it is my favourite city, I just love it. Maybe in a few years...
It just suits me.

But I like also other European cities, like Rome, Wien, Berlin or Brussels Bratislava it's very cool, Prague has got an imponent historical center, Frankfurt is very modern, Then, Oslo, Stockholm,Copenhagen and Helsinki look very fresh. Dublin is stunning, London looks huge, Paris is just Paris, Madrid is nice too.

Like everybody else I'm restricted by language. I'd like to live in a place where I can talk to people. So basically the German and English speaking countries for me.

London or Berlin would be the oblivious choices. Smaller vibrating cities like Regensburg or Cambridge would come to mind as well.

I know that I would never be able to learn a Slavic language so beauties like Prague and Dubrovnik are off limits to me.

On the other hand I'd like to brush up on my Spanish: Granada would be the place for me. Unfortunately life requires money and I wouldn't know what to do down there....

Where would you like to live if you leave Leipzig Klaus?

I already live in the best imaginable city in Germany, but besides that in Germany indeed Leipzig and Hamburg would be of interest to me for longer than a couple of days I guess.

Other than that Vienna is a good choice for anyone, including me I think.

In northern Europe Stockholm or Kopenhagen are of interest to me. Unfortunately I think its already to cold and to dark in Germany for me, so thats not really an option.

Somewhere more south I have an interest in Marseille or Lyon. Too bad I dont speek any french

I do speak some spanish though and could probably improve it again relatively easy. But I don't have any particular interest in any city there (at least not to live there).

Although there is many other great cities such as Prague or London I wouldn't want to live there permanently, because the weather is just too bad

Don't you worry. It is not that cold nor in Copenhagen, neither in Stockholm. Thanks to the Gulf stream.

Sorry, I had yesterday no Possibility to write them.

To respond your question, my favorite cities in Europe, where I would like to live, are Paris, Milan or London. These are my favourite cities.

I find also some German cities attractive. For example Hamburg, where I spent my holidays last year. Or Munich, Berlin and Frankfurt.

I'd like to live in Istanbul, Frankfurt, Paris or Moscow

Istanbul cuz I love booming cities
Frankfurt for the modernity
Paris for the language (cause I know French and it's one of my obvious choices)
Moscow cuz I love large streets, traffic, skyscrapers and in Moscow there are all of these and it looks like Seoul in this sense

I need of a cosmopolitan big city, with a vibrant lifestyle + gay scene, full of shopping/food/entertainment possibilities.

Barcelona, Berlin, Frankfurt, Madrid, London, Paris.

Stralsund on the Baltic coast, Germany.

I've bought/renovated some estates there only for rental yet, but I see myself living there permanently once I grow older. It's so neat. Small but still lively and full of culture.

I could also see myself living in a place like Barcelona, Malta or Genoa for a while. Language shouldn't be much of a barrier there. I need the fresh sea breeze whiffing around my nose as often as possible.
