The 156 is a simply dreadful way to travel.

Actually the 156 is considered the best of the Sprinters. Decent seats and plenty of legroom. Much prefer them to a 158.

156s are very nice to ride on, way ahead of the 150s and quite a bit better than the 153s/155s.

If you're doing a thread on transport in Norfolk I'd make some mention of the large number of heritage railways, particularly the North Norfolk, Bure Valley and Mid Norfolk, as well as the Wells and Walshingham, the world's longest railway below 15 inch gauge.

A couple of contributions from my October 2011 visit to Norwich:







All in all it's a very interesting area.
