can't believe i am older than most people that posted and i am only 24 :nots:, thought this website was full of academics and people working in technical fields, since this is a very specific hobby to have, but then again i am pretty happy for also younger people having an interest in skyscrapers. i, for myself, always thought skyscrapers were cool, but only with 18 started lurking in forums and only with 20 thought about joining.

Enough ramble. Although there are much taller buildings in the year 1990, i go with the Messe Turm in Frankfurt. It is actually the first building over 200m that I saw in my life. I was totally in awe when i saw it one day maybe five years ago. The detail of the building is really beautiful and it is my favorite building in Germany.

The New York Palace Hotel (1981) - I LOVE buildings that incorporate the old and the new!

U.S. Bank Tower (1989)

Easy choice, this year was not generous for skyscrapers
