NEW YORK | 210 W. 77th St. | 18 fl | Prep

Revealed: Naftali Group’s 210 West 77th Street

[img][/img]

Quote:
YIMBY has the first full rendering of the Naftali Group’s 210 West 77th Street, and the building’s design is impressive, significantly improving upon the structure it is replacing. Thomas Juul-Hansen is designing, and the 25 condominiums will be enormous, averaging over 3,000 square feet apiece.

Permits give the full breakdown, and the 18-story tower’s 78,485 residential square feet will be complemented by a 2,317 square-foot commercial component, housing retail. The site was purchased by Naftali for $55.5 million last spring, and the number of units has shrunk from an initial estimate of 30, which is not surprising given the demand for larger, family-sized apartments on the Upper West Side.

Condos at Naftali's 210 West 77th Are Already On the Market

Quote:
The Naftali Group's new Upper West Side condo building on West 77th Street is so new that the parking garage it will be replacing isn't even gone yet, but four units in the not-even-under-construction building have hit the market. The early bird gets the buyers, yeah? The listings, ranging in price from $4.9 million to $12 million, bring a batch of new renderings and floorplans, providing the most comprehensive look of the building yet (though still no full exterior shot). Thomas Juul-Hansen, the most popular Dane in the city right now, is designing the building, which will rise 18 stories and hold 25 units.

This is seriously jaw dropping...one of my favorites. I love the outside and inside theme, its almost art deco. Did anyone else notice that the island stone/granite/marble is three times as thick as the counters? Such an amazingly luxurious touch.

This might seem a little redundant as there's not much activity at the time (taken a few hours ago), and also I posted three days ago and there's not much of a difference, but...

Sales Bounce Back After Slow Start for 210 West 77th Street

Quote:
Revealed by YIMBY last September, Naftali Group has redesigned the interiors of their under-construction 18-story, 25-condo-unit mixed-use building at 210 West 77th Street, on the Upper West Side. After the initial sales launch failed, changes were implemented to include more amenities, and now almost half of the units have gone into contract, reports Crain’s Business. Occupancy is expected in the Fall of 2016.

another YIMBY sales update

http://newyorkyimby.com/2015/06/sale...west-side.html

Quote:
By: Reid Wilson 10:30 am on June 2, 2015

YIMBY noted in April that Naftali Group’s 18-story, 25-unit luxury condo building Two Ten West 77, in the works on the Upper West Side at 210 West 77th Street, was nearly half-way sold out. Now, the building is 65% sold, with sales totaling nearly $110 million in under eight weeks. Thomas Juul-Hansen is designing, and completion is expected by the end of 2016

I totally adore this classical-modern design! Lovely. Now only the materials and execution need to live up to the high expections the renders brought up.

Yess this one will be so good. Chalk this one up as another to Manhattan's mini classic architecture revival!
