Natural History Museum, London - amazing building, amazing entrance, stunning and extremely large collection of exhibits. I've loved it since I was a little kid. And I can see it from my bedroom window right now! The dinosaur skeleton that greets you as you enter the main room is breathtaking!

British Museum - nothing really comes close to it for the depth of historical artifacts at hand.

Although the Natural History Museum does have a brilliant design - like a cathedral of magnificance to nature.

The Louvre should also be mentioned - combination of artifacts and arts under a palace roof.

Galleria Uffizi just because i've been there once. There was an incredible long waiting time for the museum (2 hours) but it was really worth the waiting

2. Egyptian Museum - Cairo
3. National Museum of Cinema - Turin (for the astonishing location)

Natural History first!
Second Louvre
Third Musei Vaticani (though because of the mass of people you can't see anything inside

I like the neo-classical British Museum and now the new great court is honestly utterly amazing. The Reading room is spectacular and has an amazing history all to itself, besides the historical books within it and to that the contents of the museum, the rosetta stone, the elgin marbles, some of the finest collections of antiquities in the world, and to top all of that it is free for everyone.

I have been to all 5 in my 16 years of life and it was the Uffizi beating out the Louvre by a small margin
