is it just me or does it feel like the construction went like this....

beginning - painfully slow
mid section - extremely fast
top and windows - painfully slow again

hell if I know. just seems unlikely that they run out of money with only a few floors left. but I suppose its possible.

Looks to me like the glazing is continuing -- wrabbit's photo of June 1st shows 10 floors without glass, then the photos from June 14th show only 7 or 8 unglazed. Maybe just slowdown to do glass supply or something (big penthouse windows may be special).

Anyway, the crane keeps moving. Looks like this one is still alive!

I think it's still going up slowly though, today it looked like only a few floors left to the top.

I'm fairly certain he meant: a few more floors of glass left to the top.

Regardless of this being on a temporary hold or not a building this far into construction wont end up being another Waterview for sure... At least when something like the facade seems to be on hold, there are a million possible reasons for the delay. A good majority of them non project threatening.

I can't wait for the top of the building to be all facade-ed out. This is one of the rare cases for me where I did not like the rendering but have been absolutely blown away by its actual construction. This building rules.

I'm sure what you say is true, but under these market/economic conditions, I wouldn't be shocked if this stopped in its tracks.
