Juan,

Will this tower have for sale units available. Is it a residential tower? I have never been to Colombia but Catagena looks like a beautiful city by the sea.

Because it's using just steel...no concrete. Similar to the construction techniques used on the Broadgate Tower in London currently U/C.

Nice,

If I'm not mistaken, this is one of the 10 tallest buildings under construction in Latin America, among this tower in Latin America is also the Costanera Center in Santiago, Chile of 300m, then the Ice Tower in Panama City, Panama of 381m, and 104 floors, among others.

Other 2 new projects under construction in cartagena:

Torres del lago

Trocadero

There is a Boom in Cartagena and also in Medellin of "tallest" buildings, more of them residential.

What is causing this boom in tall buildings? I read in the Wall Street Journal that the Colombian economy is doing so well now that the Farc and other rebel groups are being driven further away. Colombians feel better about their economic situation now. Is the free trade agreement between the United States and Colombia ratified yet?

Those are fantastic buildings by the way. I hope that all of Central and South America will continue to prosper. It is good to see Colombia doing alot better these days. congrats!

I really think that the "democratic security" is the real cause of the Colombian reactivation, the security in our cities is much better today than the one of years ago, the guerrilas still exists but they don't have the power either that they have in other years. The trade agreement between the United States and Colombia influences in something but anyway it is not the only reason for the reactivation.

Thanks for be interested in our contry men
