There's no way that can be 350m. That was when SA Boy said 80F but I remember hearing between 30 and 50F somewhere.

I could see it as a fat 1148ft(350m) tower. That would look pretty cool.

Those are really bad projects, You obvioslly have too much money and not many creativity. They look to artifficial. Totaly against nature like your skyscarapers. Down the road you put 100, 200+skyscrapers. That is not good. Your architecture is good but urbanisam very poor. Any European village is pretyer than your bilion dollars towns.

280 skyscrapers in a marina 25km away from the city with shops, restaurants, cafes, clubs, bars, beaches, landscaped gardens, offices and fitness centres away from the city is far better urbanism than a cheese making village in a Europe

Yeah, It won't take along time before Deira will start. It makes me a little bit proud that a Dutch company is gonna make it

what do you expect construction sites to look like?
the whole area you see is ONE construction site including several mega projects

dutch companies are responsible for all reclamation projects in dubai

they reclaim about 400 islands

the world, palm jumeirah, palm jebel ali, palm deira, dubai waterfront

another one!

pretty or not is a matter of personal taste an as you might not know, about 1/3 of those properties are likely bought or will be bought by europeans...

And you obviously have not been to brussels, the capital of Europe... Otherwise you would not have made your second remark..

The palms are very nice despite their problems and the skyscrapers in Dubai are just awesome!

olé, olé, olé, olé, we gaan naar dubai toe!

pride gone... he he he. :-) I have a friend at Van Oort, one of the companies 'throwing rocks' for the world. For them this is a bit of an unusual project too as they normally do a lot of work covering up pipelines for the oil and gas industry with a layer of pebbles to protect the pipeline against the elements. The world and the palms are a lot more fun though!
