Marquis is grooving to that slow jam. I wish they would quit baking cakes and get on with it.

Thank you great 184. I know where Marquis is, but they've been pouring the second floor for three months. A that pace they should be topping it off in about... 16 years, if all goes well.

the reason there going so slow is because the foundation is the most important part it takes buildings 6 months just to pour the foundation. We should see them pick up speed once they get to around 5 floors.

try 8 floors thats about the time it takes for foundation to cure where it will hold enough of the buildings weight and not cause structural problems sometimes its best they clear the parking section and start on one normal floor then the speed becomes a floor a week easily...

Marquis is under construction, and that's the important thing. I remember 900 taking forever with their foundation.

I don't want to hear no bleeding heart cry baby nimby's talking about how Miami is overbuilt. Does this look overbuilt to you? I think it is screaming for CitySquare and Marquis, Paramount Park, Freedom Square, One Herald Plaza, 1490 Biscayne, as well as infill projects like Logik.

Agreed...and definitely the best photo I've seen of the obscure Flagler Memorial sitting in Biscayne Bay.

SOMEBODY is the "maintenance guy" for stuff like that...right?

arch that pic is deceptive because I couldn't tell what that thing was to the right of 10 Museum until spellbound pointed it out. The flagler memorial looks just as tall as 10 Museum!...great pic by the way!
