1 september 2007 is the planned opening date...grand opening date is unknown...before raya, for sure....

was passing by just yesterday....they have started pulling back all the red/white road dividers from the left side of the NPE highway in front of the pyramid mall...better and safer public transport access should result.

Also interesting that three of the flyovers are complete, the 4th has pillars being constructed.

One pedestrian bridge, very close to the new site, has been torn down, will be replaced with a wider bridge. New bridge has been built just further down the road (nearer to the 3C building), it is fully steel frame.

Also worth mentioning is that the long-awaited u-turn before Metropolitan roundabout/flyovers is now complete and can be used!

Hi All

You may be happy to know that some of the ramps to/from Sunway Pyramid are now open.

Traffic on the SJ-bound NPE, can enter Sunway parking area Level 9 directly from the NPE.

Traffic on Level 9 can directly exit the parking garage and take the ramp down to the SJ-bound NPE.

Traffic on the KL-bound side of the NPE will have to wait a little while. The Sunway Pyramid - KL bound lanes ramp will probably be complete by the middle of September, while the KL-bound lanes - Sunway Pyramid Ramp will take another 2 months.

A pedestrian bridge has been erected just below the old flyover/exit ramp (from Sunway to the KL-bound lanes of the NPE).

This will facilitate the movement of bus passengers across the NPE. The new bus drop off areas will be located underneath the flyover (in front of Pyramid) and just before the Caltex entrace (across from the mall).

wow,this year end is so coool...3 brand new shopping malls opening around the same time!!!..........pavillion,,,,,,,,,mid valley gardens and now sunway pyramid!!!
