Its aluminium clad - no brick or stone whatsoever
The parking garage was pre-existing for the plaza customers which isn't necessarily an excuse but compared to most other North American cities this type of thing is very rare in Toronto. (Your standards are obviously too high)
I saw this building 2 days ago. It looks pretty interesting.
