This is my favourite building u/c and it's not even a supertall!

I'm sure China will do everything in it's power to finish this builiding before the Olympics. I even suspect they delayed construction start to make the finishing of this building an even more impressive performance

Of course they would finish it before the Olympics. This has got to be one of best things tourists in China look forward to.

Impressive cladding, the glass is reflective enough to appear bluish as the renders suggest.

I doubt it'll be completed for the olympics, it might just scrape the externally complete stage if they're lucky. Its such a complex build it would be stupid to try and overly rush it now.

i dont think china would care as much as they should about the quality of this building and i think they will try to have it finished before the olympics.

The building will be outwardly complete in time for the olympics.

I mean look at it its just shooting up - it wont be long till the towers 'top out' and start moving towards each other.

Great to see this thread is getting plenty of photo updates now too. Many thanks to all who have contributed.
