Thanks for all the nice messages! I really appreciate it!

SM: I tend to use programs based on Panorama Tools, such as hugin.

Honestly speaking, I haven't really found a real 'favourite' yet! Also, using my new camera has brought a lot of new opportunities, but a few challenges as well. Apart from the obvious increase in size of the source images, I have yet to find a panorama tool that already natively support RAW files from the 40D, and this quite drastically limits the opportunities to cater for problems that occurred during the shoot itself. I could go on & on, but I think that might overshoot as an answer to your question, besides not being entirely on-topic anymore.

the government has agreed several big corprations to construct it by turn
so that it can be finished before schedule
however
we can only see its outlook in2008 olympic games
but it will be finished in 2009

Some friends went to Pekin in August. They saw the building, and when came back asked me about it. They were very impressed about CCTV HQ, and more when i told them about the giant screen covering all the lower face of the arch.

Are they still doing that? I heard that the basketball stadium for the 2008 Olympics was going to use the same technology so people outside could actually watch what was going on inside on one face of the stadium. But the technology wasn't perfected yet and they still don't know if they'll be able to do in time for the games. As for the CCTV HQ, I thought I read somewhere that it was too expensive and they may drop it. Anyone know any updates about this?
