it is said that the cladding will be finished before the olympic games.
also, the highest point of the building is the northern edge of the west tower, which is 234m, and the east tower is in fact about 40m lower than the west tower.

west tower: southern edge is about 190m
northern edge is about 200m
east tower: southern edge is about 220m
northern edge is about 234m

definitely, it will be completed by the date of 2008 Olympic games!
everything will be done on the last minute..

Bird Nest will be completed in March 2008
airport T3 will start running in March 2008
The airport express line will start running in June 2008 (railway from city to airport takes less than 30mins)
so.. please come after June, both CCTV and CWTC(330m) will be there!

OK thank you guys for those information...i will definately be there next summer (but after the olympics as i don't want to experience the madness of a city during Olympic games)...plus prices would be more moderate after

can you keep away from Chinese threads?
if you do not like China
please do not come in
we all know things about pollution of China
but we are just enjoying the buildings
I saw you make bad comments in a lot of Chinese threads
including Shanghai and Hongkong

Okay back on to the topic, do they (the builder) have any back-up plan if the connection between two tower fail because we still don't know the connection will work or not.

The connection will work. They wouldn't build it otherwise.

I am getting more impatient on why they are not starting to build the connections. It's only 8 months before the Olympics. Anyone knows the reason for that. Is there any delays?
