Well i have not seen any blueprints of it, but in basic terms it's the central heating and cooling plant, the silver boxes with the rings on top are cooling towers for heated water, the large pipes for water, the chillers themselves are most likely under the cooling towers, and cannot be seen, plus there should also be a refrigeration plant, and emergency electrical generators located in this building as well, becouse this is also a complex that has television studio's and lots of electrical requirements, (most notably lighting, and broadcasting equipment) there may be an electrical substation and transformers in this building as well,

It's the heart, lungs, and brain of the entire complex.

hope this help's, with your question.....

This looked so weird on the rendering that I never thought they would construct this. I don't like buildings that look too strange. I'd rather see the middle peace removed. A normal twintower complex would do just fine. I guess this looks better when cladded.

They've taken one of the bigger FAVS down (crane) which i think might be a 900 or even a 1280M which is a big crane that can lift alot... the other one that is there looks to be running an 80 metre boom and can lift 100t.

They could have taken the other one down, and this is just a theory, due to it's weight and and the stage the tower is at... but the counter weights for the crane alone would weight about 25-tonne.... crane about 100 tonne.

Great shot! I like how the photographer has aligned the lines in the cladding of the two parts of the building. Can't wait to see this for real! When do you guess the cladding might be completed?
