We looked at mountains until dawn, and then when dawn came, it was too pretty for me - there was pink and blue and gold, in the sky, and on icy places, brilliant pink and gold flashes, and the snow was colored too, and I said," Oh," and sighed; and each moment was more beautiful than the one before; and I said, " I love you, Momma." Then I fell asleep in her arms.
That was happiness then.

now that looks imposing. Great structures, are a marvel of engineering! This is a real beauty, it radiates power and it looks cool. However, they need to lower the smog quickly .

YES! Its GORGEOUS! I love this building. As for the smog and the olympics, I have heard they are going to "make it rain" or something really bizarre like that to give clear skies. I have no idea but it sounds interesting though.

when in 2009 will it be open? also, i heard that the public might not be able to take the "visitors' loop"? any truth to this news?

I'm planning to visit Beijing around first week of October, will the building exterior premises (park, etc) be open already or will it still be behind built up walls around its perimeter?

any advice for visiting these olympic masterpieces?

thanks!
