It looks like the spire is once again ~1/3rd of the height, that gives us ~600m of floor space. 130-150 floors?

best news of the so young year! Amazing for China to finally step it up again and that in one of the best cities as well, just wish this was closer to other developments. But then again, Nansha is pretty much the center of the whole pearl river delta, so concerning the area it maybe is a good location, even if a bit outside the city it will be close to all of the cities in the area.

Yeah that's what I was gauging too on the height. 900m tower but probably only about 600m of usable space it appears. Still sweet to see more projects at this height though.

Pretty similar look with the existing & rising supertalls of that category of over 800m height... But why not ? Looks beautiful. Not original, but still magnificent if it gets built.

Hopefully it'll become reality

Looks promising! Still, the spire is between 1/3 and 1/2 of the total building height. We need a 700 - 800m tall WTC style building!

Yes, damn those huge spires taking a major part of the height. We need a WTC style building!

Having a 300 meter spire on top , how much would such a spire add to the overall cost of a 600 meter building?

Just saw where Nansha is on the map. It's WAY outside the city center, very disappointing location. It's really stretching it to say it will add to the Guangzhou skyline.
