looks pretty good... will be even better if they keep the original facade! which might be the case based on the pic above?

I'm agree with this, but maybe in that case they had to change the entire project.

The low-rise to the right should have gone as well. Image the potential this block would have if 2 Broadway was redeveloped... New Street could be extended further south, and a supertall would fit beautifully.
