Seems it is good option if mc 21 powered by another powerjet engine (bigger, better fuel burn and improved version of sam 146) for non russian market. Since powerjet had produced an easa certified engine.

It will be a nightmare for mc 21 if mc 21 got the same engine issues with cseries and 320neo.

Won't the proposed Superjet stretch cannibalise the Irkut market, or the other way around (Irkut shrink in the Superjet stretch market) ?

I also hope UAC is trying to get a alternative engine supplier: preferably an uprated PowerJet from the Superjet, but also RR or CFM have suitable non-geared replacements for the troubled P&W-family..

It's a different class aircrafts.

PD-14 is on sertification stage. So there are two possible options.

Not really. Superjet 130 will have 130 (1-class, standard) seating capacity. MC-21-200 - 150 seats in standard capacity, and MC-21-300 - 180 seats.

I guess you are asking about PD-14 engine. It will be installed on the 4th prototype in 2018.
