Are those advertisements for the Netherlands on NYC Subway cars? How wonderful.

This topic rewinds me of the Wuppertaler schwebenbahn. More than three quarters of its cars were wrapped, I've ridden the entire line and saw only two or three cars in the 'normal' colours.

It's fine when they wrap a train, but leave the windows clean, please. The covering on the window is AWFUL for the riders! Glad to see the US has more sense (as does Japan).

Oh btw, the wraps or advertising on these trains are transparent enough for the passengers to see through the windows. I think advertising on trains, stations and pillars is a great idea especially for a developing country like India since it enables the operator to earn a few extra bucks. Most of the the Metros in India are PPP anyway.
