NANTONG | Public Transport

Nantong Metro is a planned and approved metro system in the city of Nantong, Jiangsu, China.

The vision consists of four urban lines and four regional lines with a total length 324 km, of which the urban line length of 170.8 km, the regional line length of 153.2 km.
The first phase will be the construction of the two backbone urban lines line 1 and line 2 with a total investment of 39.713 billion yuan.
Line 1, 39.15 km, 25 stations.
Line 2, 20.4 km, 16 stations.

Lines 1, 2 and 3 seem like a very efficient system. Maximum amount of coverage with the minimum amount of lines.

Not sure about line 4, though.

They are planning to build on that area to expand the city.

Do you have any news regarding the planned Zhong Shan Metro? What is the planned start date of the Nan Tong Metro?
