I going through the temples.ru architectural depository in chronological order and will be posting new churches here, and old churches in the Churches and Monasteries of Russia thread.

EDIT: No, I will be posting old churches in the Architecture of pre-Petrine Russia and Russian Revival thread.

Wow, some great posts, thank you!

Although not always catering my taste, the Orthodox style is very distinct and good to replicate and continue. Some of these churches are immensely impressive for new-builts, such as the "Church of the Life-Giving Trinity / Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El". I like the wooden churches the best, these are really charming and remind me of Potsdam's Kolonie Alexandrowka.
