The Columbia Center in Seattle similarly comes very close but is just shy of your limit at 294.8 meters.

The Space Needle means Seattle is out as well.

the Space Needle is only 184m. It only looks tall in photos because it is far from the downtown core.

this popular perspective with downtown and Mt Rainier in the background is somewhat deceptive.

Other options I haven't seen mentioned yet...

Sydney
Sao Paolo
Miami
San Francisco

and also Calgary AB... I just love that skyline. It's huge for such a relatively small and isolated metro.

I def think Singapore, Melbourne, Metro Manilla and Seattle are at the top of this discussion in my personal opinion.

Panama seems to be denser than Seattle and Melbourne.

After that would be melbourne, but one tower has an antenna making it supertall to the tip, which kicks it out of the list. it's crazy how many cities have towers that kick them out. sydney, chengdu thought i would rank them quite well and then bang tower and out
............

Jakarta supposed to be re-incorporated into the list of cities without supertall because
as previously planned buildings as high as + 300m after topping-off stage, the final height is only 288m.

Interesting thread. Thanks for starting it.

My favorite for skylines in this category... (not necessarily in this order)

For me, it has to be
Perth, Western Australia
It certainly isn't as dense as some of the other cities mentioned here, but I think it's a beautiful, unpretentious skyline.

For the U.S., it has to be Seattle. For now, hopefully 701 Fourth Avenue will become a reality and give the city its first supertall.

Its picturesque natural surroundings, sleek architecture, uniformed balance of mid rises to skyscrapers give it a shot of being one of the best.

Honorable mentions to Bellevue.
