The new proposed No.1 Undershaft (far left) in the city of London will be the second skyscraper in London to break the 300m barrier.

Tower 2 (165m) is this month under preparation.

The Tower is the third Project over (150m+) and the fifth over (100m+) in Frankfurt U/C this year.

Frankfurt continues quietly growing the skyline as always. Are the new towers mostly office or residential

We never had residential towers in Frankfurt until now, but at the moment there is quite a boom with them.

Metzler tower and Kulturcampus will be mixed use, while Tower 2, New Henninger Turm, Porsche design tower and a ~100m tower at Güterplatz project will be residential only.

If all the projects stick to the plan, there will be 4 residential and 2 mixed use >100m towers u/c within one year, also some more office towers...

Great job, Steve. It looks like in about 10 years the gap between CW and City highrises would be closed, at least from this vintage point.

1. London (The city itself is really gorgeous and my fav in the whole wide world. The property demand in London is just ridiculous. I hope that gorgeous city won't be a "Tokyo" of Europe. )

2. Istanbul (One of the very few countries in Europe which has a growing population/economy and the demand for new projects is just as ridiculous as London. It feels like both London and Istanbul will be too chaotic to live if not now. It is inevitable because these top three cities are the financial capitals of Europe.)

3. Frankfurt ( The leading member of the EU. I like their minimalist approach in architecture. Although the city looks good only from one angle, it is still spectacular and I believe it will look much better once they build the proposed projects.)

4. Paris/Warsaw ( The population is steady. New buildings are mostly commercial. I don't expect these cities to go high much anytime in the near future. Still deserves to be mentioned. )

I personally don't think we will see much of a natural growth in Moscow. The Russian economy is going down the shitter. They are too busy pretending to be stronk and invading other countries. I hope they will realize that their country can't get any better if they don't change their attitude. Paying Turkish construction companies to build a few gigantic buildings in Moscow as a showcase to the world is not gonna make the city any better. Just my two cents.

62 over 150m also. Good number that and if you get those approved built by 2025 London's skyline would've grown by 250% in 10 years.
