Milan is growing so fast, look behind at couple years ago and you will see that it almost didn't have a skyline, today many people are mentioning Milan in their Top 10 or Top 5. Milan is getting many quality buildings. I am pretty sure that when the iconic City Life cluster will be visible in the skyline Milan will go to compete with the first group, you will see. |

I agree it's bigger and taller, it's at a more developed stage for sure. Warsaw together with Istanbul are the best in the second group. But Milan definitely belongs to that group as well, and City Life is a world-class project, so big developments are ahead.

![]() you have no idea how many construction projects are being planned, have been planned, being constructed or will be constructed in mega cities like london, moscow and istanbul. for example in london, the size of canary wharf financial district alone will be doubled by the end of 2020 and there are additional 51 towers which have been approved to build (many of them have world class architecture/design and they are 200m+)

in any case we're talking about the new "CityLife" cluster in Milan, but there're also other smaller clusters in the city that are going to be costructed... also in the pics, we're not showing the smaller clusters that the city already has. we're showing you only "Porta Nuova district" cluster. however I think all the cities of the first 2 groups will improve a lot in the next years (in proportion) and they will increase the value of the group they belong to. I think in the future it will be always more difficult to pass from a group to another and this will increase the value of the cities of the first groups too. ps: what is your top 10 list?

We will see. But I prefer to consider the built and the under construction, in this case I am sure that Milan will reduce the distance with the best skylines in the next few years. You don't need mega cities to see a good skyline, infact Frankfurt is still the best for most of us. |

however I think that it is wrong to divide the cities in groups, because tastes are different and also the skylinens of some cities are changing so fast. I also learned that it is wrong to consider planned, on hold and proposed towers, because in this case Milan would have 50 more 100+, several 200+ and also a 350m! But is going to have only couple of 200+ so far.. |

Megacities like London have no competition. Even from Moscow. Moscow is ok but its not a real megacity. Its just a couple of ultra rich folks that got the $$ during the commie-democracy change. As someone has pointed it out the list of skyscrapers being constructed in London is off the scale for any European city.
Warsaw will also have a significant update to its skyline. 2 more skyscrapers are being built right now ... warsaw spire (220m) - very good height if you ask me ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ECHO Tower (155m) ![]() ![]() ![]() There are many more skyscrapers planned and will probably start construction in 2014 but hey ... I just posted the ones that will start building on 2013 Thats still good ... 2 new skyscrapers every year for Warsaw. 2012 was the year of Zlota44 and Cosmpolitian ... 2013 will be Warsaw Spire and Echo Tower ... 2014 - UBS Tower and HPO Tower hopefully
