MIAMI | 1700 Biscayne Blvd. | ~100m+ x ? | ? fl x ? | Pro

A prime site north of the Arts District that is approved for 3 towers is now up for sale. The new owners can build the existing multi-tower scheme or rework the plans. Either way, with 2.9 million sq. ft.(!) in entitlements, whatever goes up there will be no small potatoes.

1700 Biscayne, With Approvals For A Three-Tower Project, Is Up For Sale

A prime Biscayne Boulevard development site has been listed for sale.

1700 Biscayne, a 3.04-acre property across from Genting’s Omni, is being marketed by brokers. The asking price is undisclosed.

Fort Lauderdale-based Midgard Group, managed by James Goldstein, began assembling the land in 1999. The most recent purchase, which rounded out the block, came in 2009.

City commissioners approved a MUSP for the site which expires in 2021. It includes a three-tower project designed by Zyscovich Architects, with 672 residential units, 505 hotel keys and 300,000 SF of commercial space. A buyer could scrap those plans, however, as the site is zoned for up to 1,500 units and 2.9 million square feet.

Original 3 tower scheme:

We are floating in space...
