And we have new "new" houses joining the plans:

Braunstrasse 20 come to us for the first time. Design from Anne Hagenbruch/ Berlin. It is nice that the gable is a mediaeval stairs gable for a change. The building is very high, like a tower.

The next building is just another change of "Alfstrasse 19" This is its fourth design. We are getting there. It is getting better:

The three old designs of "Alfstrasse 19" (Zeschke Architekten) from left (the first) to the right:

And this old street sign salvaged from the war ruins will return to the street on either one building 27 or 28b

Thanks, frank1204.

Nice to be back and welcome.
There are news about the Fischstrasse. More designs have been publicized and we will take a look at them.

This is the idea for "Fischstrasse 11". Design by Hochguertel. The committee likes changes to the ground floor windows. The owner likes to change the gable. Straight gables where almost never used by buildings after 1250.

Here we have "Fischstrasse 22". Designed by Ellinghaus. On its place used to be a very fine building and some people where hoping for a reconstruction.

Next we got "Fischstrasse 28". Designed by Dahm. This build is criticized for too much glass and a weak gable.

Here we got "Fischstrasse" 28b. From Architect Siegmund. This little side street could become better than the Mainstreet. LOL. The right fascade is around the right corner

Little sidestreet "Gerade Queerstrasse", this building is shown in this picture from the front and backside. "Gerade Queerstrasse 5" is from Architect Jansen. The owner is quite happy with this build. The committee likes the windows in the first floor better designed. Hopefully the framing stays.

This is "Gerade Queerstrasse 3" also by Ellinghaus. Redesigned. On the left the new design, on the right the old one. The committee criticized the building too much representative for a small build. We will see.

Thank you frank1204!

And here an update from the committee meeting from the 15th of September. Some changes, and new designs;

"Fischstrasse 28b has been changed. Some changes from the owner, some for the city. On the left the new design, on the right the old one;

On top the new design, bottom the old one;

This is a new one: Alfstrasse 25, by Steffens. Very traditional, Not much critic.

Last but not least: Fischstrasse 19. This is a very special build

This is a special build, because the original gothic façade still exists. After the war to create space for the school they relocated the very old façade down the street. This is how it used to look like:

The building on the right was relocated and replaced a damaged classicism house. The façade was put together with brick ending up in different parts of the build and a park house exit was added to the ground floor:

Fischstrasse 16

This is from the "Gerade Querstrasse They test different color schemes on the same wall.

And this is the basement "Fischstrasse 7-9" The old Basement will be kept and integrated.

This picture is made thru the window and shows the buildings added. You see "Alfstrasse" on the left with #13 # 17 #21 and 27

Alfstrasse 27, picture taken from the court

Alfstrasse with Church St, Marien;

Same building with church St. Petri in the background;

Do they have any contextual images of the new builds in relation to their surroundings? It can be a little difficult to place where these new builds are and how they will blend into the surroundings with just proposed elevations.

Maybe. I have not seen contextual images. Maybe not, because the designs change a lot.

"Fischstrasse 24" is getting an update; I do not know why they don`t just use the original design and reconstruct. Anyway on the left is the old design, in the middle the new and on the right hand side the build before `45.

Witch brings us to Fischstrasse 26;
The design is from Architect Rothgaenger. The stripes in the picture are from the camera and do not exist in real; Sorry about that.

This is an design for "ALfstrasse 18" The owner presented both designs. I like the left windows with the right hand façade;

And now, Ladies and Gentleman, the entire streetscapes. Here Fischstrasse 16 to 28b;

Here the Braunstrasse 14 to 32;

One can tell that the first houses have primitive gables, but at the new designs people getting more into trying all the old knowledge the town has had in designs!
Pictures are from frank1204!

Let us have a little fun about the current constructions;

As there are:
Alfstrasse 27 The ceiling of the second level has been reached and the roof can start

Braunstrasse 22 Half of the groundfloor is finished

Fischstrasse 5 and 7 - 9 have reached the basement ceiling

Alfstrassse 13 Here is the stabilizing of the grounds sourounding the later basement underway

It looks like that the first houses are going to be finished early 2018 and the quarter should be finished around 2020. The cobblestone street will be redone so around 2020.

Here some pictures. Alfstrasse 27 on the 5th of November;

The other side. On your left Braunstrasse 22. In the back Alfstrasse 27. The Fischstreet crosses the picture in the middle. Picture taken on the 16`th November;

Alfstrasse 27 again. This time on the 17th of November.

This here will be Alfstrasse 13; Next to it the Student apartments from the early 2000`s. The Apartments are ugly.

And Alfstrasse 27 here again.

pictures from Frank 1204, thanks!

Hello everyone. Nice to see you again!

The first two constructions are coming along, therefore we need pictures. Right?

Alfstrasse 27 this is!

The church in the background is the Church of Maria

The future front;

The first floor will be plastered over, Klinker will stay exposed on top;

Looks a little awkward from the other street. The excavator stopped right on Fischstreet;

This is the "Braunstrasse". "Braunstrasse 22" on the right hand side;

Picture from southwest; The little build on the right with the white gable is the last surviving part of the demolished community college; Will be saved and recycled. Behind that build comes original old like #6 to #12. Counting from right to left.

This is supposed to be Fischstrasse, or will be;

On the right hand side the stupid student apartments. On the lift construction on Fischstrasse 5, 7 and 9. (Evan numbers are on the other street site.)

Thanks for the pics, frank1204!
