Hi Guys, Im new to this but have been reading with interest for some time. I bought in Oceana G Block about a year ago, after being told (by an Estate agent - yes right, I know) that it would be ready in 6 months?? Visited three weeks ago and could not see much change or any workers, does any one have any information as to what is going on.. I have not got much out of Omar in the officer there.

The response time to this is about the same as with building speed by the company building my apartment???
Shit - Maybe I am the only one left in the development and everyone has run away..?? |

Time is infinite
Anything you hear about development time in Dubai add, at least 16 months.
I have little experience of RAK but I suspect in RAK you need to add 24 months to whatever the developer or estate agent tell. Certainly this will not be ready until 2011. |

While visiting Al Hamra few days ago i have noticed that people are living in the villas, on the terrace of the golf club house people were laying chairs and tables. The view and the surronding area is very beautifull.

Did not get any confidence from the development team although they did manage to sell my place as a resale (at no profit to me).. I hope to have better luck next time.

U.A.E shows anything is possible.
Shk Zayed showed the world with planning and moving forward on those plans anything is possible. I'm not trying to beat down projects just showing the way forward to a sustainable future. |

Nice ghost town... It has not changed very much in the last three years that I have been visiting. Its a shame, I am glad I managed to get my money out via re-sale. I just hope thy solve the power issues very soon or RAK will not go very far once investor confidence is lost .. |
