Modernised ŽPCG Class 412 electric multiple-unit

MONTENEGRO: Zagreb-based TŽV Gredelj is modernising Montenegrin passenger operator ŽPCG’s fleet of five Class 412 electric multiple-units, which were built by RVR in Riga in 1985. The work includes installing new seats, toilets and windows.

In addition, ŽPCG signed a contract last month for TŽV Gredelj to modernise four couchette cars

MONTENEGRO: Infrastructure manager ZICG has awarded China Civil Engineering Construction Corp a 15-month contract to undertake track and infrastructure renewals on the 9·9 km Kolašin – Kos section of the route from the Serbian border to the port of Bar, along with 2·4 km of track renewals at Kos station.

The project is designed to raise running speeds and improve safety
