XBOX

Love the building. Miles (304 metres) better than the Helter Skelter replacement. A real shame that this developing cluster is diluted by one bad apple.

But 1 Undershaft is superb.

But it is an XBOX.

I love it, I don't get the hate. It's a wonderful box. Powerful, with the charm of the original world trade center's. Soaring and Mighty, sending a message.

This project should be removed from the proposed supertalls thread. I would also like to say that the original height of 22 Bishopgate was scaled down from 307 m to 288 m following the CAA height restrictions. I think the city of London will not see any supertall for at least the next three decades.

I really like it. The only issue is with 22 Bishopsdate (formerly known as The Pinnacle), it shouldn't bare the guilt of it's crappy neighbour.

Anyway, I've updated the first post to reflect the changes.

This building is awesome! Why not make it a new tallest?

I don't know, but I think that the height is good. If it were too tall, it would not fit in well in the City's skyline.

I like its simplicity. It reminds me of a shorter glass version of 432 Park Ave.

Is the design slightly tapering, or is that an illusion?

BArely. The. Building looks like a flat-topped box, but its simplicity is nice.

A handsome design, although...

Some excellent renders from Mr Cladding on the London subforum, I imagine obtained through the planning docs:
