Thanks alec_14 i'm really interested to see pics from cities in Norway. I hope we will get more of them not only from air

Strange things happens, i managed to travel all over Europe, but never was in any other S&B country (except Latvia), anyway i hope to visit Sweden, Norway, Finland and Estonia this summer.

Have you got more pictures of Skien and Porsgrunn, they look really great. And I can't see Oslo, and it would be trully interesting.

Thank you for these wonderful aerial portraits, Alex!

I love the layout of Kristiansand ... so geometrical!

A warm welcome to S&B!

Say, Geex, would you like a traveling companion?

You're describing my dream itinerary for this summer. Of course I wouldn't want to leave out Riga, which you obviously already have visited. Also, I thought I might try to do the trip by boat or ferry. So my obvious destination in Lithuania would be Klaipeda.

It is well planned! Maybe the most planned in Norway. King Christian IV founded it in 1641, and he was very spesific about many details.

Geex, Latvia and Lithuania, our transportation links with Scandinavia were weaker than with Central and Western Europe so far. Estonia`s situation was better - more links with Finland and Sweden (ferries etc.).

Now, situation improves step by step - more flights to Stockholm Arlanda and Skavsta, Helsinki Vantaa and Tampere, CPH Kastrup and Gardermoen, but ferry traffic from our ports - still weak.

Nice, though the image from Ålesund is not taken from air!

Btw, you can find a lot of air-photos from hundreds of cities and towns in Norway here and here, but they are quite small and you'll have to buy them to get large sized images.

Some other air-plane photos:

Kragerø

Jomfruland (The virgin-land) outside Kragerø

Nissedal (goblin-valley)

Kristiansand

Great photos Alec!
Curious to know the future of Lillhammer since the winter olympics. Any pics of the snow fields (famous or not)?
In Sydney our venues are used for football and cricket games. With the winter olympics next year, thought I'd like to see how Norway's olympic village looked like?

Thanks. Norweigan cities look nice because streets are curvy and natural conditions are great.

Lillehammer is doing well. I served in the millitary there in 1999/2000, and it is a nice small town with lots of things happening for such a small place. Not sure how the olympic village look like, but the press-center that was built for the olympics has been turned into a college. All the other facilities are in use too, like the downhill-facilities Hafjell and Kvitfjell. The bobsleigh are open for people who want to try it(with a driver ofcourse). The huge indoor skating arena Vikingskipet is used to all sorts of event. etc
