Road quality in eastern and central europe

Communist and procommunist governments didn't make proper investment on road rehabilitation - there were few cars. As a result, we see loads of dents as a reminder that roads must be properly made and duly serviced to avoid punctures, low speeds and other annoyance.
The task of this thread is to observe bad quality roads regardless of the status and recommend detours whenever possible.
Please, submit all information possible about dents on Polish, Hungarian, Croatian, Bosnian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Baltic, Romanian, Moldovian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Albanian, Serb, Ukrainian, and Russian roads.
Whenever possible, find sites about the road quality and announce news about their reparation. I'll be an active blogger as I live in a country where 68% of roads are considered of unsatisfactory quality(UA)
I'm looking forward to seeing some informations

PS. Please note that you won't usually find the information on govt's sites about Transnistrian Moldavian Republic, People's Republic of Donetsk and Luhansk(unrecognized states). The information which is older than 9 months is invalid. Crimea, to avoid political confrontation in the forum, must be written as roads in Crimea without indication to Ukraine and Russia

Ukraine (and some neighbouring countries) road quality map. Red & orange usually means potholes or destroyed road, yellow is uneven road, shades of green mean the road is OK.

Thx. Still it shows every ukrainian road and poorly abroad(I'm ukrainian). Could you find something about countries forementioned. Plus I can't see road quality in the unrecognized states. Are there any official links?

If you would like to make a list of bad roads in your country, you should do it according to websites like it was done with Transcarpathian

I don't have a map or anything, but roads in Slovenia outside of highways are in horrible condition due to lack of investment since the start of crisis.

"Horrible" is a relative term since this thread is about Eastern Europe. They are horrible for Western standards.

Since when are Baltic's Eastern Europe?

General quality of Baltic road's is OK. Most of the main roads are in good condition, some regional highways can give you a bumpy ride. Road's with potholes aren't that common, they are usully fixed very fast. I'd say that Estonia probably has the best roads of Baltic's, second Latvia and third Lithuanian, even though Lithuania is only one of the three with motorways/expressways. My general experience with Lithuanian road's is pretty bad, so that's my personal opinion.

Yep. We Ukrainians say the European roads are in excellent condition, even though DK4 from Mirocin to Rzeszow, which is a bit problematic but we think they are quite good. But, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia are central Europe, so it is about rather ex Warsaw treaty union and ex Yugoslavia than only about the former USSR and Romania and Bulgaria. But, provided you have news about the other European countries on the topic, 'twill be discussed of course.
Dear drivers, the only thing I wish you is not to trap into such a dent during your journey on E-roads in Ukraine
