I'm not sure if that's a failed attempt at sarcasm but...building something over water is futuristic? So are bridges just really reallllly futuristic?

wow
much pessimist
very oppose

Good job on reading into Mr.Blian97's words a bit too much there.

Just had to try and quell another humans excitement for something they found aesthetically pleasing, didn't you? Pat yourself on the back. Job well done.

*ahem* Anyway, In light of any previous subjective comments (to stay on topic) I like the design of this project. It has a design focus. Unlike some other proposed projects in Dubai... though I still liked how ridiculous some designs were, but I digress.

I was simply saying that I hadn't seen a similar looking structure before where such a massive pool went into a mall-like building. But believe me, I do know what a bridge is, lol.

It's obvious that it won't be completed by 2020

Okay, 711m are great. But when i compare it to KT in jeddah.

Why dosnīt Dubai build higher? I donīt want that the city will loose the record!

Because a second tower with 850 900 or around 1000m doenst make sense, they will get a financial plan for an 1400 or bigger tower instead of wasting money for an lower haha

No my real opinion is that they deal better with projects like the creek extension etc. mixed projects. There will pass more than 4 years before the kingdom tower surpass burj khalifa.
