Also, the trolleybus has a very poor service.

There are 19 trolleybus routes throughout the city. It is an extensive trolleybus network.

You did not answer my question: why do you keep making stuff up?

But the problem is, that trolleybus are to infrequent, and are treated like some uselless socialist transport for retired, children, hobos and fare evaders, while all young and realtivly wealthy prefers either driving or private mini-buses.
Sad but true.

That's not my thoughts, I actually thought that mass transit should dominate in big cities, but sadly many people after fall of USSR reverted to 1960 mentality - "cars and roads for everyone"

KRYVYI RIH | Public Transport

Kryvyi Rih is located in Dnipropetrovsk region(Ukraine). It is the largest city in the region after Dnipropetrovsk(but has such area, like in Dnipropetrovsk).
Area is 410 km2. The population is about 650.000 people. Also this city is the longest in Ukraine(length is 126 km, but straight way is 65 km). This city is the largest city in Ukraine which isn't regional centre.

Public transport here is quite interesting. Kryvyi Rih has undeground system(2 undeground systems in 1 region !!!). But it isn't a traditional undeground. It is metrotram. It means that the trams run under the ground (not traditional metro). But this fast tram system isn't go under the ground all times, it also has ground sectors. Undeground stations are like in traditional subway, but they have current pickup in the top and platforms is much lower, than in usual tube

This is the tram of 3 trams( usually, there are trams from 2 or 1 trams). But I don't know why they didn't link 5 trams, because the length of platform permits to do this(you can see on this picture that 3 trams aren't so long, as the platform).

as you can see, the height of platforms is quite low

And this is fast tram(from 2 coaches) and usual tram(from 1 coach).

This is the ground sector of fast tram(here trams run not in underground)

It is the station

The exit from this tube

And counters for travel payment

Also there are some interesting facts:
1)Underground stations can used by traditional metro(not only for trams), but we need to lift platforms then
2)There are video surveillance system in all station of fast tram for providing the safe
3)There are wickets in undeground stations like in heavy subway
4)There is signal for mobile devices(GSM) in all underground station

Also there is trolley system here. It appeared at this date: 25 december 1957. The best model is ElectroLaz - 183

Also there are UMZ E186 (it is low-floor)

There are 2 depots: 1-st: for northern part of the city, for such routes № 3,4,4а,9,10,13,15,16,17,18; 2-nd: for central and southern part of the city, for these routes: № 1,1а,2,5,7,8,11,12,19,20,21,22,23

And it is not bad, that Kryvyi Rih has trolleys. Because the 3-rd(Kryvyi Rih is the 2-nd) city in Dnipropetrovsk region - Dniprodzerginsk (240.000 people) has only trams, but hasn't trolleys.

It is accepted tokens and city won't see modernisation here in this or next decade, I suppose. Tram in metrotram are really noisy, old stock of Czech trams and surface stops are ugly. Here are some videos:
